FAIRFIELD COUNTY COVID-19 RESPONSE


The Fairfield County Health Department continues to record new COVID-19 case reports, COVID deaths, and vaccination rates and updates the Fairfield County report on a weekly basis. The Ohio Department of Health updates their COVID-19 Dashboard daily.

The Fairfield County Health Department is reporting a 27.9% decrease in COVID-19 cases over the past week. From 3/17/2023 through 3/23/2023 there were 49 new COVID-19 cases reported in Fairfield County, for a rate of 31.10 cases per week per 100,000 population.

 

1 new hospitalization was reported in the past week. 2 new COVID-19 related deaths were reported in the past week for Fairfield County residents.

Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines. Get tested if you have symptoms. Wear a mask if you have symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19. You may choose to wear a mask at any time as an additional precaution to protect yourself and others.

 

The Fairfield County Health Department offers COVID-19 vaccinations for anyone 6 months and over, and booster doses for those eligible. We have the new Pfizer and Moderna Bivalent COVID19 Vaccine Booster Doses and we also have the new Novavax COVID-19 Vaccine.
