The Health Promotion Division strives to improve the health and quality of life for individuals, families and communities in Fairfield County by preventing disease, protecting the environment and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Health Educators promote healthy lifestyles and help people of all ages make informed decisions about their health. Through education, community collaboration and information sharing, we promote healthy behaviors in schools, workplaces, at health fairs and throughout the county, leading and serving on committees and coalitions working to improve the wellness of Fairfield County residents.
